Hiatus

It’s happening. I am putting Whispers at the Edge on hiatus, probably for a good three months or so. There are a number of reasons for this.

1) I am working on Weather Child the first podcast novel set totally in New Zealand. I know from Chasing the Bard that this is a large commitment in both time and energy. I want to do it right.

2) I am now only working as a librarian 4 days a week, so I also want to concentrate on making enough money to justify that with writing.

3) The final project is a joint podcast series with Tee Morris. This steampunk CSI is due out in May and as a paying gig demands my attention.

And I just feel three podcast projects at once is a bit much. These things mean that I just don’t feel that I have the time to devote to Whispers at the Edge- and I want to do this thing well. I expect once I have got some of these projects out of the way, or at least worked to a certain point I will bring back Whispers at the Edge- with more vim and vigour.

If you want to keep an eye on what I am up to I suggest you subscribe to my blog at pjballantine.com as I often post little notes and updates there. Remain subscribed to this feed as well so you don’t miss me coming back here.

Thank you for your encouragement and support.

I’ll miss it, but you do seem to be a little bit busy there!
